What are we doing?

Why are we all "crazy" like most guys like to say? Doesn't every girl just want to be swept of their feet? I know I do, and have yet to experience whatever that may entail. Just because we are in a long term relationship does not always mean that we want to get married soon or ever, but we all want to be "swept off our feet". I suppose I am just writing this to tell myself, but it is true. & whether or not we are in a steady relationship or single, girls like the thrill of dating, of looking for A, not THAT, special person. Now the obvious question comes to mind; are we meant to have multiple relationships and meet numerous special people, or our we meant to find and be with the one?

I fell like dating and general life have many things in common as far as what I am talking about. & what I am talking about is putting your self out there. It is one of the most annoying things we have to deal with. "I may dissect each little thing and put myself out there so much but at least that means that I still care. Oh! You've think you won because women are expendable to you. You may not get hurt or make an ass of yourself that way but you don't fall in love that way either. You have not won. You're alone. I may do a lot of stupid shit but I'm still a lot closer to love than you are." So which is it? Do you constantly put your self out there? Does it feel like you get nothing but craped on? Is it worth it just to think that maybe one day things will work out? I struggle with these questions every day.
